The City Planning Division has accepted the minor variance application of the above project with the condition that the building will be developed and maintained solely as a senior citizens’ apartment building with one retail unit at grade. Now it is up to West Toronto Support Services to get the required funding from various government bodies.
The SWAR executive board believe the development to be a welcome addition. The building design is very pleasant and will be a welcome improvement to the worn down strip west of the Pioneer gas stattion. The only concern, is that the current deign has 10 parking lots planned for 50+ units. This may add to our current parking issues as it is.
